  1. I am certainly not swimming in money, but... If I didn't work, I wouldn't have ANY money. I live three miles from my office, so transportation costs are miniscule, except in the summer, when they are nonexistent. I bring my food from home - food which I would be eating whether I worked or not. I guess I do have to buy work clothes, but not terribly often. I prefer a somewhat drab, but timeless sort of style. I have no children. I pay no childcare. I pay no tuition for my nonexistent childrens' schooling. I have no servants. I wash my own dishes & clothes, and sweep my own floor. These things are part of living life. Maybe not the most exciting parts... but important in a boring & forgettable sort of way. I also scoop my cat's litterbox every day (not even a machine to do it for me!) I do not have a driver. I enjoy driving and am quite good at it. Sometimes my workplace even pays me to do it (58.5 cents/mile) if i run some errand for them. Occasional courier~ing adventures are the spice of life! You list an awful lot of luxuries - relaxing joint massage? Seriously?! Maybe you would have a better relationship with your life partner & save a ton of money if you massaged each other every night after work... Also, I don't think after-work drinks counts as a valid work-related expense. That is another optional luxury. Either you choose to drink for fun, or you don't do it. Maybe you would have a better relationship if you went home to be with your life partner, instead of stopping at the bar to drink away all the stresses of your work day. But then, I actually kinda like my job. & coffee is provided free of charge in my office. I am a librarian. I do my work, pay my bills, live my life. No complaints.
  2. Your formula is an eye opener to all & definitely i found, to my astonishment that i got a negative result which shows much i am paying for the privilege of going to work. Please help working people with such novel enlightenments.
