Life expectancy in history?
I am trying to find tables for historical life expectancy rates. Specifically, I need to know, of the population born in 1946, what percentage are still alive. I need tables to solve this and other similar problems.

- Google is your friend.
- just remember that just because they say that the average life span was say 35 doesnt mean that most people died at that age it's more likely that it means that there were more deaths with new borns at that time causing the average life span to be lwer
- Hmm, I would guess the majority of those born in 1946 are still alive. They would only be 61 and life expectancy in the developed world is mid to late 70's with many women in particular making it into their 80's.
